Instincts

I liked The Self-Made Widow better than Suburban Dicks. I enjoyed listening to both on Audible. I would love a third book in the series to know how Andrea juggles the kids , work, and life after ...The characters have depth and are very human.

Better and better…

Enjoyed this novel immensely. Hoping one day Fabian writes a spin-off of Ruth’s Truths… because I want to see her grow up.

Strong addition to series

Andrea Stearn is becoming a more interesting person as are the cast of characters around her. Deeply flawed, yet likable, Andrea continues to solve mysteries & be a so/so mother/human. Hopefully she will continue to grow as a person as the series continues. Funny & well-paced; worth reading.

The characters are strong and believable. The setting was very true to the area, and I really hope that there is another book soon. I would like to know what happens Andrea.

Should be titled Andy's Children

This is the second book by this author! the first was fantastic with the same cast of characters! this book is about the 5 children Andy has. Also a LOT of backflashes. I couldn't finish the book.

First Book was better

It took a while for Kenny and Andi to get going this time but once it did it was fun. I really enjoyed the narrator in suburban Dicks and when I immediately downloaded this I was so disappointed to hear a new narrator who did not have Andi’s character at all. Overall I’d recommend this but definitely Suburban Dicks over this!

Fabulous Mystery and Satire in One

A great sequel to Suburban Dicks. Aside from the hilarious, laugh out loud satire on the suburban American Dream and it's current manifestations, the book is a great sleuth story of the unlikely hero finding her place in the world, through her family and her true vocation. For anyone that grew up in the New Jersey suburbs of New York and spent time in the Princeton area, this book is a treat.

Even better than the first!

I could totally relate to Martin’s tirade leading up to the conclusion. Maybe I’ve been living in the suburbs too long.
