It’s a good story but poor reading performance

It’s not the quality of writing or story line I object to. I like all the Maureen Ritter stories and other books by Eoin. This is the first of this series I have listened to on Audible. This is definitely not up to normal standards. The narrator was flat sounding and lacked drama. Especially for such a dramatic story. I can’t believe the author approved of such a boring, simplistic narration. Feel like I wasted my money on this one.
