The director of a salmon farmer contact Sivert Olafsen late one evening. He is distraught, salmon freights disappear on the way to the market and reappear in the fish market in Korea by another seller. A competitor is actually taking over the market with identical products.
At the same time, Sivert Olavsen becomes involved with an insurance company and discovers an enormous illegal fishing in the Barents Sea. Political disputes over rights to the rich fisheries in the vast sea area contribute to lawlessness, ravaging, where many assert their rights. Sabotage, stolen fish, stolen boats are the ingredients in which the criminal networks operate.
