This 1769 edition is highly sought after due to being more reader/listener friendly than the 1611 since many typos were fixed.... Intense reading
This book was quite intense. It kept me going back to my iPod. I thought the narration was excellent and the story quite amazing. I wasn't sure at times if the book could end on a good note. I was glad I pushed through the more graphic times. I wouldn't give this book to a child to read alone. I think this book needs some adult discussion along the way, not only to understand the human mind, but to relish the fact that we all make choices. Good for family reading with older children (tweens to teens, but not younger).
