When Olympic fencer Max Damage inherits the family business, Damage Incorporated, he finds messy financial records, a number of mysterious undocumented projects, and a bookkeeper who was foisted off on him from a firm hired to keep Max's company out of bankruptcy. Things go from bad to worse when a long-legged Russian woman breaks into the offices of Damage Incorporated, and soon Max finds himself the target of the self-styled Chess Master and ruler of the splinter Russian state Murmykia.
