Reseñas de la Crítica

Chosen by many readers as the best spy novel of this year
Superbly constructed and written with flair, it manages to debunk John le Carré's world and to reaffirm its mystique. It's highly unlikely that there will be a better espionage novel this year
Standout
A natural-born storyteller
A shot in the arm for thriller fans
Blissfully ingenious
A breathtaking thriller. A classic in the making (PETER JAMES)
This is the most impressive espionage debut since Mick Herron's Slow Horses. Filled with fast-moving action and a fine line in threat, it weaves a thrilling spell
Hugely impressive and compelling (WILLIAM BOYD)
Look out for The Scarlet Papers . . . Engrossing (STEVE CAVANAGH)
Todas las estrellas

A long book with limited payoff at the end. Some interesting plot twists but the payoff might have been worth it if the book was about half the length.

A Long and Winding Road

“Friend, lover, colleague, traitor, spy.” She was it all & so much more. A proper spy until death do us part. Intriguing, intricate, cerebral & manipulative. I really enjoyed it.

What an amazing book. Just like the protagonist’s in the book where things are never as simple as they seem to be… we are kept guessing. The characters are layered and nuanced. The decisions they made makes one examine one’s own life. The narrators were excellent. Truly an enjoyable listen.

Wow

This story could easily have been 4-5 hours shorter. The material thinned considerably as the tale went on and it became simply a challenge to finish. In the end the story was decent, by no means explosive or thrilling.

Interesting story but WAY TOO LONG
