Everyday humans are behaving surprisingly well, demonstrating what is possible with strong, effective and inspirational leadership. Of course, having a “big dog” keeping his eye on things doesn’t hurt. Here in the 13th volume of this saga, the “big dog” and the Queen have to protect the planet yet again, this time from creatures as fearful in their appearance as they are in their behavior. Even more, a short while later, our two superheroes have to deal with victims of these invaders, a species of bioforms that were conquered earlier by the same invaders and a few of which managed to escape in a starship. As a result, several new characters come into the saga, characters with quite a story of their own.
