Every mating season, the alien overlords make a selection. It is a fact of life that all humans accept. For Alex, the yearly selections are a mild annoyance. She knows she is not the physical type the creatures desire, so their eyes slide right over her. At least, they did. Something new is coming. The Supreme Overlord is participating in the selection for the first time since their arrival. And apparently, not all of the aliens have the same type.

good start

it is a short story, but I didn't like how suddenly it ended, it felt more like the start of what could be a good book more that the complete story on its own

Storyline

I don’t care for the virtual voice and the story was too short. I would have liked to hear more.

Wish it were longer

This sounds like the beginning of a very titillating series should the author decide to go forward with it. Only downside is the virtual voice.

HEAish with a post Apocalyptic vibe

I appreciate the lead having a short background and being a person of color... Soooo many books talk about the "beautiful pale skin" It is nice to hear something different. Definitely a short and to the point story. I would like to listen to more from this author. There is a lot of room to grow in this world.
