The effect of the relationship on children is particularly profound.

Maybe just a bit too wordy. For me, the authenticity was compromised in attempt to embellish the sentences.

Marriage Changing

Less expensive than couples therapy and invaluable to me in this rough patch. This author provides the listener with so much insight and awareness if the listener is open and able to focus on their role in the rough patch. Marriage saving...

makes couples realize they are on the same team.

This is a very helpful book for couples that are not sure where the relationship is going. the author goes into depth on all the tiny problems that become huge when they are not addressed between couples.
It does take the womens side more often than not when it explains certain issues.
I do recommend to listen to it with your spouse.
