**Supernatural horror with a historical twist!**
Sixty years of evil in a cursed Victorian mansion in the American heartland!
Set against the background of post-Civil War America, and World Wars I and II, ‘The Rockland Horror’ is filled with generations of unforgettable characters, and terrors that will keep you awake all night.
The first 5 books of ‘The Rockland Horror saga’ (the complete historical arc), are now available in a single box set omnibus edition!
The Rockland Horror 1: March 1882
Ellen Sanders, the town beauty of Rockland, Indiana, marries Theodore Briggs. Briggs is a wealthy railroad tycoon and Civil War hero.
But Ellen's new husband is not what he seems. Nor is the sprawling hilltop mansion that Briggs has built just outside town.
As children in the town begin to disappear, Ellen must confront the horrible reality.
Meanwhile, a 19-year-old orphan, Louisa Goodwin, has visions of evil forces stirring within the Briggs House. But can Louisa convince the town elders to act before it’s too late?
The Rockland Horror 2: August 1882
Ellen Sanders resides in a mansion filled with evil spirits, unspeakable creatures, and the walking dead.
Ellen begins a rebellious extramarital affair that will unleash a wave of gruesome violence, and an army of beasts from the mouth of Hell.
Louisa Goodwin will be forced to act—in order to save the town of Rockland, as well as herself.
The Rockland Horror 3: March 1917
In faraway Europe, the Great War rages on. The world waits anxiously to see if U.S. President Woodrow Wilson will take America into the conflict.
By now, the events of 1882 are fading into the stuff of legend, for all but the town of Rockland’s oldest residents.
But a few still remember what happened.
And the old horrors are back. A road excavation unearths a ghastly mass grave on the grounds of the unoccupied and decaying Briggs House.
Meanwhile, the house draws an infamous serial killer from far away. The Briggs House inspires him to kill again…and again.
The Rockland Horror 4: July 1945
Tom Clark, a native of Rockland, Indiana, is a United States Marine fighting in the South Pacific.
Tom is haunted by visions of a boyhood visit to the Briggs House—where he once saw something horrible on a summer afternoon.
And now, as he takes part in the closing battles of World War II, Tom has reason to believe that the horror of the Briggs House has followed him overseas.
But Tom’s fear takes on a new dimension, when he commits an act of coldblooded vengeance amid the fog of war.
A new undead menace arises. And when Tom returns to Rockland, that menace will pursue him across six thousand miles of land and sea.
The Rockland Horror 5: August 1945
Tom and Mary Clark are newlyweds, but their marriage is overshadowed by old evils, and secrets of a more recent vintage.
A series of events leads the young couple to take up residence in the newly renovated Briggs House.
Tom begins serious work on his first novel. But his new literary agent bears an uncanny resemblance to a former, deadly visitor to Rockland. And his muse is none other than the darkest, most dominant personality within the Briggs House: Theodore Briggs himself.
As Tom falls ever deeper under the control of the Briggs House, a new, and horrifying prospect emerges: that Tom Clark will reenact the original murder/suicide of 1882!
