The Roar

A New Future is About to Exp

De: Emma Clayton

Narrado por: Jane Collingwood

Twelve-year old twins, Mika and Ellie, live in a future behind a wall - safe from the plague animals beyond. Or so they've been told. But when one of them disappears, and the other takes part in a sinister virtual reality game, they begin to discover their concrete world is built on lies. Determined to find each other again, they go in search of the truth. And as a strange sound in their heads grows to a roar, they find out that children and the planet have never mattered more...

Exciting and clean. How is that possible?

What do you know? A book can be written that is fun and exciting without filth, foul language and inappropriate content. My kids (early to mid teens) loved it. I did too actually! Can't wait for the sequel.

My 10-year-old sons review

I’m a 10 year-old boy and some of my favorite books are the books Cradle by Will Wright Spy School by Stewart Gibbs and the Wild Robot and overall this story was very good and close to the top on my list and 10 year-old appropriate

Teenager & Adult book!

I loved this book! I loved the writers creative style! I got this for an 8th grader who loved the story, and I ended up enjoying it too as an adult!
There were a few chapters that I listened to at night and actually couldn’t click stop because I wanted to know how it would unfold! I’m excited to read the second book!

I’m grown and I enjoyed this!

It starts off slow, but it really does pick up. Very clean, with good morals and a good story.

Perfect For The Whole family!

A great listen for the whole family! Would be great to listen to together on a road trip! I will be listening to it again with my kids when they are older! Kind of slow in the beginning, but really picks up about half way!
