Lots of fun

Wasn't sure about this series when I started it with book 1. It started a little slow and I wasn't very invested in the beginning. But man by the end of the first book it was really hitting its stride. Which made me excited to read book 2. Fortunately, unlike some these are coming out quickly. The first book released last month and now this one and it looks like the next will be released in a month. The second book really kept the momentum the second half of the first book had and snowballed it. More characters and interesting things about the world. All of that wrapped up in a package of two of my favorite narrators. Rebecca Woods is probably tied for my #1 favorite narrator. But Daniel is no slouch either.

loved book 2 more than book 1! Excellent writing and acting. on to book 3!

exceptional

a great squall to book 1. solid progression in both story and character. a good mix of talent skills merchantileism and luck the mc struggles fights loves and falls into enough situations to make the 2nd volume of this series extremely enjoyable. I highly recommend this series for isekai / cultivation enthusiasts

it's a great second act

Loved this book as a second and loved the entire series not for children though. the story telling is marvelous and the build up is wonderful.

Fantastic second book in a great series.

I really enjoyed the first book in the series and was anxiously looking forward to the second. To my delight the second book was just as good as the first. Character growth remained steady, and new characters were added which provided more depth and interesting backstory’s. I am anxiously looking forward to the third book.

a little better

it was a good starter and now this one as a sequel is definitely a little better. Reviews seem to me next for the series overall but the number of reviews speak volumes. I'm definitely still interested in seeing where the story goes from here. also the narration team is amazing. I have listened to quite a bit of their work such as skullduggery and monster girl Island. overall well done keep up the good work

Even Better than Book 1

on a whim and good advise I started listening to this series. It is AMAZING and well worth every second. The second book picked right up and was entertaining and enjoyable the entire time. New girls, new spells, new tower and new monsters. you should pick this book and series up now!

decent 2nd book

the story and narration is still going strong. Cool character interaction . looking forward to the next.

Another inconsistency, please start taking better notes.

The book is good, performance is great, but you really gotta start writing down lore notes. In book one the humans and beastkin allied to over throw the elves but the humans refused to give them positions of power, now here in book two were told that the beastkin allied with the elves.
