Without appropriate support measures in place, AI could exacerbate existing socioeconomic inequalities, widening wealth disparities. Proactive measures are essential to mitigate these risks and foster an inclusive transition to an automated economy, which includes investing in education and training programs aimed at equipping workers with the skills required for the jobs of the future. Implementing policies to support displaced workers through retraining initiatives and job placement assistance can help alleviate the effect of automation-induced job loss.
