The number of clergy spouses that no longer attend worship has never been tabulated. Many avoid all parish activities and don’t want anything to do with the profession their significant other chose. In this, the thirteenth book in The Magnolia Series, my intention is to give the clergy spouse a voice. I hope to enlighten my readers on the impact living in a glass house has on the person who married a member of the clergy. The stress, struggles, and challenges faced by the pastor are also felt by their life partner. Beyond the unvoiced struggles of maintaining a household on a pastor’s compensation, ministry often has a negative impact on the clergy family physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
