this is an intriguing story with several twists - very enjoyable! shows appreciation for folks frequent overlooked.

As many twists and turns as the puzzle box itself, love! Hoping for another adventure soon!

ambitious book groan male narrator

the story concept is ambitious and I don't think it hits the mark. while I can understand wanting to freshen a story of puzzles and being chased across the world..this was not fleshed out enough. I rolled my eyes at the "bad guy" because there was really no back story and he was just there.
while the main characters are interesting the male narrator doesn't have range for female voices and they all sounded husky.
I won't be continuing the series.

I love puzzle books. I'm very glad to have found this book. I hope the author continues this into a series.
