Entertaining and thought provoking

This was a great book that helped me reflect on my own life and habits. The author talks about some of his professional comedic acts in the book. I had a chance to look at them on YouTube after the fact. They are amazing and so awesome. This was a great book.

Excellent book and performance!

Just finished listening to this book and loved it. I've seen Jason perform live and he is on the top of his game as he reads and performs in this Audible book. The book teaches some very powerful leadership principles and Jason uses personal examples and stories to help us understand and apply them. He gets vulnerable sometimes, which makes it even more engaging.

He also breaks into performing many times during his reading, which I absolutely loved! I laughed out loud more than a few times!

A great book. I highly recommend it. I also watched the first chapter in its video book option. It is the best way to enjoy his masterpiece by seeing him perform it! A great idea for a long flight to learn and be entertained.

Good book, great message

This is a good book. Jason does well performing and helping to promote self improvement. I find the biggest challenge is building you own confidence without becoming selfish but rather selfless. There are good principles in the book and I will encourage all of my family to listen.

Great and Inspirational Listen - Do it!

I listened to this over a weekend while on a road trip and loved it! Jason Hewlett has a unique way of teaching and inspiring us. (He must have known when he first noticed his large mouth in the mirror that incredible things were meant to come out of it.) I was particularly inspired by his courage to "bust through" what he had at one time thought success looked like because it didn't line up with the promises he made to himself. It really cleared the way for an even better and more impactful path for him. If you are at a crossroads or trying to get clarity on how to show up in your life this is a mush read.

The Promise to the One by Jason Hewlett is your personal guide to greatness. In this audio book you go on a journey with Jason as he gives examples of how you can identify, clarify and magnify your signature moves and talents. He shares various stories from his life and career with eloquence and humor to keep the listener engaged. It is so much fun to hear this book performed in his own voice along with his impressions which really draws you in. But what I really love about this book are the tools he gives you to start living your promise to world. There is an online guide that you can use in conjunction with this book to start identifying your talents so you can start reaching your maximum potential. His methodology really resonates with me and this is a great listen. The physical book is great companion piece to structuring your promise. I can't recommend this audio book more. Make it a goal, wait, make it a promise to listen to this book!

Definitely an annual read!

I've been waiting for this book for years. The Promise to the One takes personal accountability and responsibility to a whole new level, and we are a world desperately in need of it! Perfect timing.

Every chapter is great!

Jason Hewlett really makes you think about different aspect of your life (family/work/self). My favorite chapter was 6 kindness. Wow - kindness in kids sports and teaching a team way beyond the normal way! The whole book was fantastic! I hope readers will be able to see Him in person! He’s an excellent keynote speaker!
