Having convinced her father to let her inherit the throne rather than marry her off, Shiori now needs to obtain the Elemental blessings at the five temples situated all around the country. As if that were not enough, people start disappearing mysteriously and Mount Hiyama erupts, casting ash clouds over the country and rendering many people homeless.

As she struggles to find a solution, Shiori’s feelings for Shinji continue to grow stronger, even though she knows full well that he would never be accepted in her social circles as anything more than her bodyguard.
