Three women dead. One pattern emerging. Time is running out.
FBI profiler Reid Harper arrives in Prague haunted by his Amsterdam failure—six women murdered, only one saved. The guilt nearly destroyed him. But when Czech police identify a serial killer targeting brunettes in their twenties, Reid can't refuse the call.
The pattern is unmistakable. Tomáš Král, a charismatic tour guide, selects his victims with terrifying precision. Three women are already dead. Victim four has been chosen.
Prague's narrow medieval streets become a hunting ground as Reid races to identify the next target before Král strikes again. But this time Reid has something he didn't have in Amsterdam: a chance to save someone before it's too late.
Working alongside Czech investigators, Reid must balance obsessive dedication with the sustainable approach he's fought to build. Every hour counts. Every decision matters. Get it wrong, and another woman dies.
But Reid Harper doesn't lose anymore.
The Prague Hunter is a gripping psychological thriller about redemption, precision profiling, and the razor-thin line between saving lives and losing yourself. Perfect for fans of Criminal Minds, Mindhunter, and international crime fiction.
The story revolves around an emotionally damaged FBI profiler. The author's story line is weak; it's more about Reid (the profiler) and his daily coping mechanisms which are repeated over and over and over... should I go on. It's almost like a self-help book for anyone struggling with PTSD. (in the most basic way)
The story line is basic, and the characters portrayed are somehow just names with no depth to them at all.
How I managed to finish this book, I don't know. I was hoping, perhaps for a redeeming ending, which didn't happen.
Oh yes, I remember now, I listened to the latter part of the book on 2.0 speed!!
Stay away, not worth the frustration!
Frustratingly repetitive
