absolutely love it beginning to and and I cannot wait to get my hands on book 2

Definitely won’t regret picking this up

The beginning of the story is very related to most board game enthusiasts which makes it all the better. The female narration is a nice touch and you can very easily distinguish the characters which is hard for some people to do but this does it very well. Overall it’s a amazing listen that you won’t regret and unwilling to put down. 10/10

I'm very much looking forward to continuing the journey with the next book.

good light story

it was a good light story, about a professor of History that likes to play dungeons & dragons. lands in a new world with sexy elves and fights for the cause. there were some parts that did not flow well, but did not interfere with the story. if you're into sexy elves fighting in a new world it's worth a shot.

Interesting world

I really like the world building so far, promising start to a new series.

The narration is very well done, Erin did a great job as always.

The story slowly ramps up with some minor pacing issues, I am really looking forward for book 2

A wonderful start

A great start to what should be a awesome series maybe a bit heavy on the smutty scenes but they still fit well for the target audience only problem I had was the period of rereading that lasts 5-10 min starting at 5:12 left but that should be fixable with a little editing

A fun Isekai into a fantasy world (NSFW Harem)

This is a fun Isekai journey into a world with elves, magic, and an evil Lich lord. The characters, dialog, and plot was enjoyable. Narration was spot on as well. I look forward to book 2! NSFW Harem.

Excellent!! 10/10!!!

This is a story about a History Teacher who loves Dungeons & Dragons getting sucked into a game world. There are no over-the-top stats to skip over or game mechanics to get bogged down by. Just a guy doing what any fan of D&D dreams to do, kick @$$ and save the world. Oh, and of course, have fun with the ladies along the way. The book was excellently written and flowed really well. It didn’t leave me so bored in spots that I’d have to skip over. 10/10 would recommend.

The only problem I had with the book was the narrator, and even then, it wasn’t so much of a problem that I had to quit listening. While Erin did a spot-on job with the characters and accents to bring the characters to life, the general narration gave me a vibe of a mom reading a bedtime story to a toddler.

Despite a few errors, it was a fun listen.

Despite the errors in Chapter 10 where the sentences kept repeating, the overall story is simple yet enjoyable. The story is not too overly convoluted and gets to the point. Erin Bateman's performance gave the ladies quite the charm. Looking forward to the next book.

Portal to another world.

I have been a long time reader of Isekai-ish types of books. This book is not only that but has a well executed harem. I don’t enjoy books that have every chapter explaining the details of the MC doing the deed. It has enough to keep you interested. Although I can’t hear about the Lich King without thinking about that MMO, any story can have a Lich that’s a King. I am looking forward to the next audio book.

Erin Bateman can read me bed time stories any time she wants, keep up the good work.
