In this sequel to "Five Children and It", the children find a magic carpet and a Phoenix, an honerable bird, who takes them on journeys through time and space—which never turn out quite as planned. Also included are two short stories, "The Ring and the Lamp" and "The Tuppenny Spell". Please be aware that there is some racism in this book that may be offensive to some of today's listeners.
