Your average romance, light on the romance
If this is your first LA White, don't despair. Try A Dark Lure or one of the later ones. They're amazing. This is like a summer beach read. It's overly dramatic, not really suspenseful, and not that well written. It's pretty cheesy, but not as bad as some romance novels. The romance factor is pretty low, and she does much better in her other books. It's a decent book to pass the time and I'm glad this isn't the first book of hers I read. Others are supremely better.

the perfect outsider
All the way through this book, I thought it was pretty good, but not as good as her others I have read and gave 5 stars to, but when I came to the end of the book, I was disappointed the way it ended, too much left hanging (for me)

Story without an ending
The narrator was stilted and hard to listen to. I love this author but the narrator made this book really hard to listen to. Just when you thought they hero and heroine were getting somewhere on their quest for justice, the book ended! Very disappointing for this fan.
