Great intro to patents

As a new patent attorney, this book has been invaluable! It makes such a complex subject much more approachable.

The Essential Guide to Patents for Founders

As a (non-patent) attorney, I found this book to be an engaging and extremely informative read. It’s one thing to know patents and how to get them. It’s quite another to understand the dynamics of building a patent portfolio that protects your company’s IP while building its value in anticipation of that big exit we’re all chasing. Vance explains the nuances in an enjoyable and accessible format, which is a must-read for any founder or attorney advising them.
