The D'Alessandro's Series Book Seven

I wasn't too happy when Billings, Montana ended up being the only place that we were able to find a building. But I quickly realized how awesome it was here once all my siblings started finding their special someone. Nico and I are the only ones left.
I made the mistake of getting my hopes up when my sisters kept telling me that it was my turn. I refuse to do that again, so when Tasha announced that her friend was moving here, I immediately talked myself out of getting excited. She's likely not mine. She has two kids, she'd better suited for someone in her same situation.
Being a stepdad is not in the plan, not even the backup plan. I love kids, and know that I could love someone else's the same as I would my own. That's not the problem. The problem is, I don't want to be the fake dad. If they have a real dad, then that makes me the fake one.
Nope, I'm not fake dad. If she does speak to my soul, I'm going to find a way to adopt her kids. That's all there is to it. But I'm not getting my hopes up. She's not likely my match. I refuse to start making plans in hopes that she's the one before I meet her. That's a recipe for heartbreak. I'm just going to have to wait and see. And if it's not her, then my girl will show up soon enough. I just need to be patient.
