Audio quality made it impossible to listen

There were way too many background noises in this book, could not even get through a chapter. I want my money back. It’s like there are other background tracks - roosters, kid crying, video game bleeps, and other completely random noises - that interfere with the speaker.

The concept of the book is good, but the background sounds are horrible and very distracting

Excellent Book, Terrible effects

The content of this book is excellent. I will refer to it as my son continues to grow. However, in this audible version, they've added sound effects to highlight keywords. There are so many bells, gluck-glucks, and crying babies, it distracts from the reading. Also, the mix is poorly done. In some cases, you can't hear the reading over the sound effects. Since they are trying to highlight the keywords, you can't hear them and may not know the subject for a paragraph or two. Skip this audible version, just buy the book. It's worth it.

Hard to learn with all of the terrible sound effects

I have no clue who thought having rooster and token noises among the others every few seconds throughout the narration. It is absolutely distracting and ruins the ability to focus and learn from what should be a serious book. We had to spend money to buy the book a second time so we can read it without juvenile sound effects to see if there is anything to learn.

Great book, Horrible amd irritating audiobook

Horrible, annoying, pathetic audiobook, that crappy irritating background noise/ sound effects make the audiobook impossible to listen to!!! Otherwise great book!

Couldn’t handle the annoying sound clips.

I couldn’t get past 20 min of listening to the insanely annoying sound clips of purring cats, video game beeps, and cheesy kids laughing and crying. His voice alone is soothing and would be so easy to listen to if not for the cheesy sound clips. I wish there were an option to remove them.
I thought this would be a great way to get parenting help without having to take the time to read it as a busy parent. Oh well, back to the kindle.
