Good but ended goofy

Scott Brick was excellent. Three quarters of the book was excellent. The ending was goofy and some important issues were glossed over. I rated it well because overall it was satisfactory it just ends silly.

Treat yourself

Purchased this book long ago- rediscovered it. Superb storytelling and excellent narration. Money well spent.

Really enjoyed this book!

There was a lot of action, our hero learns a bit of humility and further lowers his defense against the world.
What really got to me was the emotional content. I really felt engaged in the development of the characters and their respective journeys as they related to Pop.

loved it, the narrieators voice was calming but I could feel the excitement great book.

One of the Best Shane Scully Stories

I felt that this was one of the best Shane Scully stories. The story delved into Shane's youth and his relationship with Walt, his mentor in his youth. I enjoyed the interactions among the pallbearers and the deft character development as they worked together to solve the mystery of Walt's death. Loved it!
