Speechless
This story is full of emotions. I think it is a great story to learn about what kids from other countries had to go through for a better life. Great book to understand that immigrants don’t leave their countries for fun.

Awesome Book
I loved this book a lot!At first i did not understand it but now i do!`I love the journey to get across the boarder.I love when they make friends.I think this book should receive 5 stars.The bad events and good events makes it interesting to read!I recommend for people to read this book!

This is actually great
I just found it so stressful, as a public school teacher of a primarily immigrant population, to hear about how terrible life in other countries can be and the difficulties associated with getting to America. Two children - one 16 and one 12 - on their own for a thousands of miles long journey. Too well done! I have a student who says this is the best book she ever read and she reads a lot (and is white).
