For an adventurous youth from the north, it was not only exciting and fascinating, but also triggered his curiosity to find out what this was all about. His ultimate goal was now to take part in this new, which was referred to by some as Offshore.
It turned out to be the beginning of what was later referred to as the new Norwegian era, an offshore oil and gas industry.
