Nothing lifts our spirits and brings us peace, as does hearing the good news of great joy, which is for all people—and that is the miraculous birth of our Savior.

In recent years, you have noticed a shocking failure on the part of pastors to bring forth this good news.

The Incarnation. Angelic visitations. Kings and wise men seeking and worshipping the newborn Babe. God wrapped in human flesh! Everyone involved rejoicing exceedingly at the hearing of it!
Of a truth, it is one of three Great Events of history.

Yet today the church avoids it. Avoids celebrating and sharing His triumphant love, in coming to earth through a virgin's womb.
This short work is an effort to rectify that failure.

During the gladsome Advent season (and throughout the year!), let this be your Proper Christmas Sermon.

It is a JOYFUL and TRIUMPHANT return to the glorious biblical account of the Christ of Christmas. The Lord has come! Let earth receive her King! You will cheer to hear again as in good days of old, that angels from the realms of Glory proclaim Messiah’s birth!
