Loved this book!

I loved reading this book. I really got pulled into the lives of the characters. There is a lot of depth to the characters and I could see each one. Being from the Philadelphia area and having gone through the Pine Barrens area before it was great to see how the author really tucked in familiar things about the region. I hope that there is a sequel in the future. I want to know what happens to the characters and the town. The themes of change, identity, choices, chosen family, laughter/love, and fit come up in this book. It was upbeat, but with real content and connection. Can't wait to read more by this author.

Gwen Steel's narration of The New Town Librarian by Kathy Anderson is a cozy listen that shows you can change your story at any age. How a library can change a life, a community, and create a family. It makes me want to be part of Nan's library family and live in that little New Jersey town.
