The New Age of Empire takes us back to the beginning of the European Empires, outlining the deliberate terror and suffering wrought during every stage of the expansion and destroys the self-congratulatory myth that the West was founded on the three great revolutions of science, industry and politics. Crucial reading for all

The book is a crucial reading for everybody who wants to understand society, especially if you're interested in geopolitics, political economy, imperialism, anti-racism and activism in general.

There's literally SO much knowledge in here, but at the same time he explains it in a clear manner. His voice is also very nice to listen to. It's my new favorite book, so I bought the hardcover version too.
