Poignant story, if you can get past the AI narration

This was such an important story, especially for those of us who have survived narcissistic mothers. Because they present so well to the outside, we're often made to feel crazy or like we're liars when we try to share our stories of abuse. I only wish the author had narrated it herself, or perhaps was able to find a narrator. The AI voice was awful, and there's multiple instances in the book where words are pronounced wrong or the inflection is off. Kylie, thank you for sharing your story with us! Silence benefits the abuser, and I'm proud of you for no longer giving her that power.

Not a narcissist

Good God! I was expecting mommy dearest! This mother was NOT a narcissist simply a BAD mother. Quite honestly I could only get halfway through because this author is actually really mislead if she thinks her mother was bad. Makes me want to write a memoir! Trust me! Narcissist is NOT this mother…
