What if you could decode the secrets behind billion-dollar companies—and use them to build your own?

Most entrepreneurs dream of building one unicorn. Elon Musk has built six: PayPal, SpaceX, Tesla, Neuralink, The Boring Company, and xAI. His companies don’t just reach massive valuations—they revolutionize entire industries and reshape the future.

The Musk Way unveils the four core principles behind that success. Based on exclusive interviews with former SpaceX, Tesla, Neuralink, and PayPal employees—and drawn from 9,200 research notes—Alejandro Sahuquillo, a former entrepreneur with more than 10 million views on his YouTube channels, distills Musk’s method into a clear, actionable system.

Already adopted by founders, engineers, and team leaders across industries, these principles are transforming how professionals think, build, and lead. From defining your mission to creating world-changing teams, from engineering revolutionary products to selling them at scale—you’ll master the steps Elon Musk has repeated across every venture. Presented in a practical, in-depth framework, The Musk Way isn’t just a book—it’s a playbook you can use to create your own success.

Whether you’re launching a startup, growing a company, or on the brink of your next breakthrough, The Musk Way equips you with a blueprint to turn bold visions into reality

Stop dreaming of unicorns. Start building them.

if you want to hear the wide swaths, a lot of this info is available elsewhere. What makes this book special is the nuances of what Elon's behavior means and how to think if you want to replicate them. Nice work. Thank you!

Nuance is everything

For more then several years I have closely followed all Musk's companies reading everything written about them, listening to hours of interviews and reading the biographies about Elon and experiencing the products.

As an investor in Tesla, xAI & Space I have followed Musk closely for over a decade and probably could have written a book like this. This book provides an excellent Summation of how he operates.

Excellent Summation of Musk's Methods

While this book offers a few decent insights, they are ultimately lost in a sea of missed opportunities. The overriding theme suggests that simply replicating "The Musk Way" is a guaranteed shortcut to success, but that premise lacks critical nuance.

Elon Musk is a polarizing figure, and while some of that stems from his role in disrupting the status quo, that isn't the whole story. There is a consistent pattern to his behavior. His narcissism is simultaneously his greatest superpower and his most significant weakness. Unfortunately, none of that complexity makes it into these pages.

The book entirely misses the essential human factor. Musk can be unforgiving, even horrible, to those who don’t conform to his specific belief system. He has caused real-world damage to lives while appearing entirely oblivious to it. I have long admired his engineering and organizational prowess, but you cannot ignore the fact that he is often trapped in his own algorithmic echo chamber.

Ultimately, this book lacks any real introspection regarding the flaws inherent in Musk’s methods. It is an opportunity lost, and I genuinely worry for anyone who attempts to mindlessly repeat this formula without considering the cost.

A Missed Opportunity for Nuance
