A new brand of heroin is pouring into the towns connected by Virginia’s US Route 460. The heroin is clean, it’s as cheap as fentanyl, and so expertly dosed and packaged that the danger of overdosing is minimal. Heroin addiction is exploding but local law enforcement has made it clear that with fentanyl use on the rise, there just aren’t enough resources to focus on this new source of heroin.

The heroin has ravaged the small town of Florin, and a group of frustrated residents has had enough. All have seen their lives devastated by heroin addiction and if law enforcement won’t help them find the dealers, they will do it on their own.

This book delves into the lives of ordinary, small town people trying to cope with the scourge of opiate/opioid addiction. Drawn together by their shared grief and desperation, this group of survivors won’t stop until the flow of heroin stops.
