As a precocious, articulate and very literate child, I read the Holy Bible-- King James and International Versions—from top to bottom, back to front, several times. I had decided that I was too imaginative to ever be an atheist. I found verses there that terrified me. I found others that inspired, comforted, perplexed, and others that were grim beyond belief. Because “conventional” explanations were limiting; and in no way spoke to me of a magnificent, beneficent, omniscient God who created the Universe and destiny and time and all live—all Holy and Loving—I was moved to explore other versions of the Holy Bible. There are some journeys that you must take in order to live with yourself; this is mine. Here are some of the verses I am exploring. I hope you too, will enjoy my discoveries. It is (always) the questions that drive us.
