Marty is an appraiser. Somehow she stumbles upon a murder and she ends up involved in investigating what really happened. This one is a high stakes mystery. The investigation swirls around a money club. There are rich members, lots of rules, lots of secrets, and lots of suspects!

Excellent
Marty is an art appraiser,and seems to find a murder to solve when doing them. A club for men that are rich and well known. To be president is the goal for many. When an affair is with one of the wives with in this club murder happened. As always with her book you learn new things, new recipes, and a murder to solve. A maltipoo with jewels. Good narration by Jamie Lynn added to the story.

good narrator
“If you do it, will you be able to sleep at night? And conversely, if you don’t do it, will you be able to sleep at night?”
This is my first book in the series. The narrator was good. The psychic addition was interesting. There are spoilers for previous books and outcomes of mysteries. Ack. Some seriously messed up stuff in here. Unfortunately, it’s probably pretty accurate to real life. A good female narrator. After my first Harman audiobook, I was a bit worried. This narrator didn’t detract from the story at all and I was able to follow character changes. An enjoyable mystery.

When A Murder Is Not A Murder
I enjoyed this story. This was my first book in this series, and it was entertaining. I liked the quirky characters. I admired Marty's perseverance. I was amused by the humorous incidents. I was pleased by the underlying theme about doing the right thing in spite of other influences. I was entertained by Jamie Lynn's narration at North Loop Productions as her performance kept my attention. I was given a copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this audiobook.
