Great audiobook!

Very interesting audiobook that I enjoyed listening to! They did a great job in the narrator voice was easy to listen to!

Highly recommend

Wow, this audiobook really got under my skin, in a good way. The Mask Slips was both fascinating and unsettling. It tells real stories about people who seemed totally normal, doctors, teachers, even partners, who turned out to be something else entirely. I couldn’t stop listening.

The real-life stories are both shocking and deeply informative, helping listeners understand how psychopaths operate in plain sight. It’s powerful, eye-opening, and something I’ll be thinking about for a long time.

Eye-Opening Read

I appreciated most was how each chapter not only told the story of the predator how important it is to trust our instincts. book that will stay with you long after you turn the last page.

Better than fiction

It's thrilling to know that these people exist in our everyday world, and I'm grateful Mr. Blackwell wrote about some of the weirdest, and tastiest, psychopath cases he has investigated.

Writing about psychopaths isn't the same as writing about other characters, and the author does a great job narrating the red flags, patterns, and how each of these individuals was eventually caught. It's the strangest thing to witness such behaviors hidden among ordinary people.

Chapter 11 was my favorite. It featured a genius and prodigy who dropped out of university, became isolated, and eventually turned into a serial killer. The narration wasn’t entirely to my liking, it felt a bit rough in its diction, but it’s nothing to worry about.

These stories are even better than fiction.

Very Interesting

This was an extremely interesting listen let me tell you. The stories are pretty scary and crazy at the same time but will keep you listening. My favorite story was the one called "The family man with fatal secret". This one will definitely make you look at all the family men you know with a different perspective. I really enjoyed the narrator a lot, she was perfect for this type of book. Definitely recommend to anyone who wants to hear something different and interesting.

So many eerie stories

If you’re into sociopaths and criminals then this book is for you. It really shows you just how destructive some people can be and how badly they can ruin people’s lives. It makes you weary of anyone you meet for sure!
