The name The Brotherhood of Vigilance started out as a joke, but it stuck. This scary-as-hell motley band of brothers number thirteen or so--most are ex-military. Most have seen their share of combat and warfare on foreign shores. Now they are committed to serving their country and its citizens in a way consistent with their “special” skills. As in warrior skills. They wade in when the courts have been hogtied by bureaucratic red tape or just don’t give a damn. They assist victims of kidnapping, assault, rape, attempted murder, torture and mayhem and a whole host of other bad things. KC, the longtime leader, the author of this account, is the tip of The Brotherhood’s righteous spear. Every word is true.
