Public Domain (P)2014 Phillip J MatherIf you could sum up The Man Who Keeps His Head in three words, what would they be?
Home Front PoemWhat did you like best about this story?
This is a war poem about the man who stays home to work, to feed, to keep the wheels of commerce turning. It's a war poem about men who are not soldiers yet contribute to the welfare and prosperity of a nation at war. I found this take unique among all the war poems I have read or listened to.Which scene was your favorite?
This is a poem so there is no scene. I just liked the overall tone of the poem. Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
Yes. It is very short and I listened to it numerous times in one sitting.Any additional comments?
A good narration by Philip Mather. Keeps the poem flowing.A War Poem About A Non Soldier
