Tense and Totally Gripping

Delvin, accused of killing his mentor Borlock, survives on tricks while kingdoms Argent and Hengel edge toward war. Princess Jarla’s rescue and sharp wit speed things up, and Grimbolt’s shift from assassin to ally surprised me. The Magician’s Secret by Charles Townsend gripped me right away. The action mixes with tense politics, and the book was immensely enjoyable. 5/5 and recommended!
