This book is phenomenal. I’ve been a fan of Jonathan Kruk’s itinerant storytelling around New York’s Hudson Valley for years. This is his first children’s book, and it’s delivered with all the delight and drama of one of his popular one-person shows. The story and art harken back to old-time storytelling—the illustrations even remind me of Where the Wild Things Are. And Jonathan’s narration is expertly done, with wonderful inflection and tempo. Bravo! A++
