Four kids. Four different stories. One beautiful message. When Wesley, Kai, Andres, and Samantha each experience moments of hurt caused by hate or unfairness, they don’t know how to make sense of it. But everything changes the day they meet at a community event. As they begin to share their experiences, something powerful takes root—friendship, understanding, and hope. Together, they create a mural and garden that becomes a symbol of everything they believe in: Love. Respect. Unity.

The Magic of Us is a heartwarming children’s book that celebrates diversity, empathy, and the magic that happens when we stand together. With a gentle, uplifting tone, this story helps children understand big ideas in a way that’s accessible, relatable, and empowering. Perfect for ages 6-11, classrooms, libraries, and families who believe in kindness, courage, and community.

This story does not take long to listen to, a few short story's coming to an meeting at the end. Story is easy to comprehend for children. As a parent I will be letting my child listen to this. The world my child knows, is full of both good and bad people. This book reminds us of that, and how it feels to be hurt. But the biggest part of this book (and why i want my child to listen to it.) Is the reminder, that even if something is said about how different you are and how you do not belong. You can move on knowing you did not do wrong, for being simply....You.

The Narrated has a nice clear voice, but oddly paused speaking at odd times. Some times even in the middle of the sentence, making the story come out oddly.

The story itself i feel could have been longer, most of it was the short story's. The end though good felt rushed. I did enjoy the story even with the odd pauses. I would listen to another of this authors books. And as I said above, i will let my child listen to this book.

I was given this book for free in exchange for an unbiased review, thank you so much.

A book to make one think and remember.
