This is one of the best series I have read/ listened to in a long time. It keep me on the edge of my seat. I hope and pray there are more books!

𝗧𝗪: This book is definitely triggering, I don’t want to dive into too much detail so I don’t spoil anything, but members of the harem are subject to many situations that could be triggering to others.

Well we finally made it to the last book in the Emerald Lakes series and let me tell you, the journey was worth it. I think the best compliment I can give this book as that I didn’t want to read it in one sitting. I wanted to savor it because I didn’t want to leave these characters behind. I absolutely love this series and this book is no different.

Sage and her boys get an ending that is packed full of action, hilariousness, tears & steam. Somehow we are missing the mac and cheese…. Seriously why isn’t there mac and cheese! This book brings at the feels & I am sad to see it go, but so exited to see what is in store for us next in this world.

I am absolutely hooked on this series and I need more! Also, Bridget & Jake Bordeaux do an amazing job with this audiobook. I could listen to Jake all day. An absolutely brilliant book.

Exciting Series

This was a great series; hate to see it end. The characters and storyline were well developed and interesting. So much of it made me laugh, the banter between characters was priceless. Can’t say enough about two of my favorite narrators. They made this series fun to listen to.

Great story, great narration

I’m pretty new to audiobooks, so I’ve not heard the same narrators from a different series before. At the beginning, it was a mind scramble to hear JJ and Rogue’s voices while listening to Kai and Saige. Eventually I was able to refocus, and they showed so much emotion that I actually cried at one point! The characters they give life to with their voices add such depth. I read the first four books and then downloaded this one as an audiobook because I couldn’t stay home and read and I couldn’t put the book down. I’m sure the rest would be great on audiobook as well. It was a great story and it was a pleasure to hear it narrated by this couple again. What a nice surprise.

It took me a while to finally listen to this book and not because this series was bad. This series was everything I needed in my life and really just didn't want it to end. The love that they have for one another is a love I wish I have in my life. I highly recommend you listen to this book and preferably start with the first book. Thank you so much Britt Andrews for bringing this beautiful story to my life. Also thank you Jake and Bridget Bordeaux for bringing this story to life and making me feel all the emotions from your amazing narrating.

I loved this whole series and I absolutely love Britt Andrews!! The narration in all the series is awesome and I’m glad I went the audiobook route with this series. I am definitely going to have to re listen to these at some point😊

I absolutely loved this series and cannot get enough of it. I am hoping we maybe see some cameos from our favs in the next series that was teased in this book with the masked mystery men haha. I am wondering if the leading lady will be a certain sister or the friend of Hunter's from the agency. I want to see more of Hunter, so I am hoping maybe he will be in the next series too!

In terms of story, I am not going to give away anything because this series deserves not to be spoiled. I loved the amount of ache in this book. I liked that it was a big build up and that the battle and rescue wasn't a quick thing. Also, we got so much more after the big showdown, it made me so happy to see that longer epilogue/well-rounding of the story and their family unit. The author hits on some really tough topics in this one and does a great job not playing it down (in terms of Saige after the birth). I thought the issues Fischer went through was tragic and so horrible, total mindf. I will say I wasn't 100% happy with how that was resolved. I know things had to be ok to move on as a family, but why bring it up when it could like easily be removed. I loved the dragons and cool things brought up in this book and I would love to see more of them. I loved the side characters again in this story, a certain mouse totally stole the show. And oh my goodness I almost peed myself with some of Faris' antics hahaha. It was gut wrenching when he realizes it wasn't all a test for him and the others had to reassure him. And the almost goodbye and the knitting! Ok no more from me haha. The reason I couldn't give it 5 stars is because I got confused with the ending. Something didnt seem right with the flow and explanation and then it all of a sudden it was over. It just felt rushed and not fleshed out in terms of the actual resolution. The battle and build-up before that was fabulous. I did love see everyone get what was coming to them though hahaha.

Narration was the best in this one. I still think both narrators could be stronger doing the opposite gender (more so Jake and female voices). I thought the heartbreak, anguish, triumph, love, etc was perfectly portrayed and bleed from the pages and words spoken. I thought this epitomized the series and really brought the characters to life. The side characters (and their different forms), the love with Kohl and his leading lady, the exiled's quirky and mysterious (and dangerously sexy), the humor from Faris and Napoleon. Splendid job, so happy to have listened to this whole series ❤️❤️❤️

10000% recommend this paranormal RH. It has everything you could ask for in a series. Humor, romance, tension, anguish, action, mystery. So good 🥰

Not only a fantastic (and hilarious)...

This was not only a fantastic (and hilarious) listen, it also brings attention to serious issues like mental health...as well as continually advocating just plain being a good human being. If you are a fan of fantasy, RH romance, or both...this series is a great choice!

An amazing series

I got to say the way she wrote about sages depression, after giving birth is very realistic as a mother multiples myself I went through a similar situation. No one ever writes about it, or talks about it because it’s too real for most people thank you for Andrews for making it be realistic and show that it’s OK to have feelings of doubt in your life, especially about being a good mother. Overall, the series has truly made me a happy person. It has the right amount of of love, chaos, and adventure. The people who voiced this series did an amazing job. You really connect with the characters when you read the book, but hearing it out loud, it makes it even more realistic.

Loved it, I was either laughing, really pissed off or crying. Audio books definitely make cooking and cleaning a lot more enjoyable.
