The thing about betrayal is that it never comes from the enemy. Sage gets a first class seat to this lesson. Shelly had been her ride-or-die chick for many years; but it seems like one steamy night with Victor could change all that; or could it? We are all only human. Hell, a little temptation never killed anyone...that is, until Sage's "would-have-been" mother-in-law gets wind of Shelly's' dirt. Sage thought her struggle of pain was finally going to be a thing of the past; with the opening of her dream, "Ace of Sage Art Gallery". When her grand opening turns into a beautiful nightmare, everything and everyone in her life seems to be spiraling out of control. Everyone is keeping a secret or two, and quite frankly Sage has had enough of being lied to. As the months go on, Sage finds it harder and harder to trust those around her. She tries to break away from the pack and find her own way out, but her physical condition is holding her back. She has no choice but to lean on "Mommy Dearest" for a little support. Living together; Sage finds that Lillian may be further off her rockers than she originally thought. Unfortunately, Sage also learns that the man she fell in love with, and took a life trying to protect, is not at all as innocent as he previously claimed to be. As a matter of fact, his sob life story was just another lie Sage had to face after his death. Sadly for her, that doesn't stop her heart from yearning for his presence. Wishing Arsen had come with a "do not enter" warning label, Sage desperately tries to fight her way through this maze of secrets only to end up back where she started from.

Cliffhanger!!! Give us a dan Break!!!
Seriously need Part 3. great story but the ending got me looking for the author to get my Pimp Slap on!! As a film producer, I read looking for books to option. Would love to option if there is a Part 3.

The Lyin' King 2
Wow, part two of the Lyin' King was even better than the first! I only wished that the writer would have told or went deeper into detail about the life that Arson was living. I wanted much more than what was given at the end. I don't enjoy books that just ends with an abrupt ending!
