Abraham escapes his comfortable and luxurious life in Germany and immigrates to Israel prior to the breakout of the Second World War. As a means to support his family amidst financial hardship, Abraham enlists in the Israeli branch of the Royal Pioneer Corps under the British Military.

Through fighting in battles in Tobruk and Greece, he finds a new sense of strength and resilience to survive. His wife, Genia, struggles to raise their son as a single parent in a new country . She faces the temptations of infidelity when a young chivalrous man appears in her household. Their son Aaron, is sent to an orphanage, and like his father , finds the strength to continue living under gruelling conditions. The plot line is based on real-life events, combined with the personal story of an Israeli Royal Pioneer Corps soldier, and provides a hatch to the story of 1500 Israeli Royal Pioneer Corps soldiers, taken and kept captive in Germany until the end of the war.

Excellent book

Absolutely stonning book if you are loving details. Strategies, planning and politics during the world war II ….all those you thought you know before listening to it. Well, the book will teach you a lot more.

Stunningly good analysis

We all too soon forget the lesson learned as those who sacrificed so much in WW2. This is a good refresher. Since so little taught about WW2 these days everyone, both young and old, should listen to this book.

Amazing work

This is a well written and comprehensive book on WWII. I thought I knew a lot about the war but Mr. Isaac puts things together that I had never thought about. You won't be disappointed.

I find this material very interesting. It is a good reminder that creative people have to be able to brave the disapproval of others, and be content with less than perfect results, due to the sheer volume of output. It's not magic!

Made in His Image

God is the ultimate creator and since we are made in His image we too have endless capacity for creativity. It comes in all shapes and forms, but is valuable in every iteration. This book is good for someone needing to reconnect with what it means to create and why they should be willing to pursue what they were called to create.

A good one for entrepreneurs advancing God’s kingdom. Author nicely dissects how entrepreneurship is a calling and everyone needs to fulfill their purpose in life. It’s easy flowing with ample examples to motivate you as an entrepreneur.

A great synopsis of the greatest conflict

If you like WW2 history. You will love this audio book. It has the most comprehensive listing of statistics I have heard, presented in a way you can understand, but still shocks you in it's entirety. Highly recommended for WW2 arm chair historians.

this book help me realize that my hearts desire needs to match God hearts to fulfill His plan for His people and the kingdom of God. A must listen for all believers! will most definitely be listening to it over and over.
