Well crafted Overview

Well crafted overview of the royal families of England and Scotland thru the ages. Most Enjoyable!

Bit slow in the beginning but interesting!

Took a few minutes to get use to the format and reading style but was entertaining and informative

If you like history, this is a very interesting and engaging book about the lives of the monarch’s of England. It is a very insightful way to look at the history of the UK.

Succinct and fascinating

Loved the melodious voice of the narrator. I felt it was well edited and easy to follow. Will probably listen again soon!

Such a complete listening pleasure, the best book I have listened to so far I just couldn't stop I needed more.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

In the car, on the bus or cuddled up in bed at night I just loved in. Antonia Fraser may have edited this fabulous book but Wanda Mc Cadden brought the rise and fall of the English monarchy to life for me. Just fantastic!!

good overview of the english sovereigns

Nice overview of each monarch.. oliver cromwell is skipped over as he was not a royal monach, so if you want to learn the basics but are not a ull blooded historian, this is a great book!

The book to get started on the history of England.

The best introductory guide, no punches pulled, mostly objective and strictly factual, for newcomers to the history of kings and queens of the British monarchy.

Excellent history, wonderful narration

These were very enjoyable stories of familiar English history. I particularly like the narrator. This was a relaxing book to listen to while getting ready for bed or similar things. I think it would be accessible for somebody new to English history, or a homeschooler.

History at it's best!

I love the way the book chronicles the history of the kings and queens of England. If you have an interest in the English Monarcy and/or some of the major turning points of England's history, this is the audiobook for you.
