The Lands of Nod is a fantasy book for all ages. This is the second book of a trilogy. Bjork awoke with a start. As he hurriedly sat up in his bed the book that was lying on his chest went crashing to the floor. Ah yes, he remembered now, he had been reading The Tales of the Wimpet King. He also had a vivid memory of the monster in his dream and shuddered. I really must try not to eat too much before retiring to bed he mumbled to himself. It had been some time now since he returned from the Land of Lox with Naomi’s cure. He had been very anxious indeed to return home. But lately especially since reading this book he felt bored with his daily routines. He found himself envying the adventures of the Wimpet King, and longed for one of his own.
