Love the strive between Finely and Margaret.

I really enjoyed listening to their story! They are so funny in their antics. Loved the deerhound!

If you don't like descriptive love scenes, then this isn't the book for you.

A Scottish Laird and a Second Chance

This installment in The Lady’s Guide to Love series is a wonderful mix of romance, humor, and heartfelt emotion. The second chance storyline feels authentic, and the forced proximity element adds just the right amount of tension and charm.

The writing sparkles with witty dialogue and vivid descriptions, while the steamy scenes are tastefully done and perfectly complement the emotional depth of the story. It’s a delightful escape that kept me smiling from start to finish.

Gareth J Davies’ narration is exceptional. His voice captures the characters’ personalities beautifully, making every moment engaging and memorable.

Exciting

This book was so exciting, I couldn’t pull my earbuds off. The narrator brings it to life. Margaret is so disillusioned with her relationship with Finlay she feels there is only one outcome for her. I loved how Finlay went about changing her mind. I loved all the intricate scenes and wonderful side characters. This is a must listen.

Hot and festive Scottish tale!

The books in the "Lady's Guide" series are so full of romance, heat and fun. They are set in a variety of exotic locales and this novella takes place over Hogmanay (New Year's Eve) is a snowy Scottish castle. How romantic and playful! Laird Finlay has a short time to try to win back the love, trust and respect of his young and stubborn wife after seriously messing up after their marriage night. When a married couple is snowbound, there are only so many things they can do to amuse themselves, so use your imagination. The tale is steamy, the dialog is snappy and the story is heartwarming and fun. In the Audible edition, narrator Gareth Davies does a great job with his deep and sexy voice giving even more life to the Scottish characters. I love the ongoing theme of the book "A Lady's Guide to All Things Useful" that play a part in all the books, as each heroine adds her practical tips for marriage. I really enjoyed this short, stand-alone addition to the Lady's Guide book!
