FANTASTIC KAIJU BOOK

How original?! Great story. I hope krakenstein comes back like Godzilla always does A++!

Monsters!

I loved how Candela told not only the battle of the monsters but how they developed. The evil billionaire seemed a little, no, more than a little, insane. The narrator was excellent, easy to listen to. The plot was the usual monster against monster, with a little love action threaded with. A good listen,

not for me

I was given this book for free from audiobook boom and asked to leave an unbiased review for the author and narrator.
If you've seen Pacific Rim you've already "seen" this story. Its just not for me. The narrator did a pretty good job.

I wanted to like this, but couldn't finish

The very first thing that upset me was the author's forward. First, he goes on about how much he hates spoilers. Then, he starts reveling spoilers. What? The part that did me in, however, was the narration. There was no range of characters. There was male and poor, female. All the men and all the women sounded VERY similar throughout the narration. Finally, I gave up. I would try again with better narration. I would like to note that this book was provided as a free copy and my review is honest and genuine with no coercion from the provider of the title.
