I LOVE LOVE LOVE Lisa Gardner. I like both of her series & I wish she had penned even more novels. I HATE HATE HATE the narrator. Anna Fields is very laughable at her straining attempts to do male voices. I had read Say Good-Bye before listening to this & I must say that I had never invisioned Mac's voice to sound anything like that! She makes him sound like he has no brains. When she starts speaking more quickly, she actually does a better job because I think she forgets who she is trying to be. If you like a good murder mystery, like Kellerman, Connelly, Cornwell, or Slaughter, you will like this, but you might consider reading the actual book over the audio version.

GREAT READ!!!

This is a really great thriller! It keeps you wanting to read. The characters are likable and believable and the story is creative. I really liked this book and listend to it every chance I got - finished in 1 week driving back and forth to work.

this book got me right from the start and kept me interested. I really enjoyed this book. Lisa Gardner is an excellent writer.

great story but the reader just had no emotion. The story line keep you guessing all the way to the end.

the killing hour

I listen to this book while i'm doing my morning workout and find i extend my workout just to listen to more. This is a really good thriller slash serial killer story. LOVE IT!!!

Riveting

Stop, hear this audiobook - I enjoyed this tremendously. The voices were a little cheesy but consistent. Lisa Garnder is a great mystery writer.

Enjoyable listen.

This is my first read of this author and I enjoyed the read from start to finish. Tight plot. Interesting characters. Others have mentioned they didn't like the narration... I really didn't think she was that bad, once you got into the story a bit. There are a lot of male characters in this story and her male voices take a bit of getting used to, however they weren't bad enough to detract, in my opinion.
Worth the credit.

A wonderful read!

Although I am not a great fan of murder mysteries, this one is excellently crafted and many times had me on the edge of my seat. The characters were appealing and fully fleshed out, and the story was intricately plotted but totally believable. Anna Fields did a wonderful job as always with the reading. I can't recommend this too highly.

I love the transition from previous series w Quincy and Rainie and the Kimberly w Mac plus all the intensity and suspense of the serial killer and map to show next steps

This author has become one of my favorites. I cannot put her books down! She does her research. She knows how to write a good story and keep the reader on the chair's edge waiting for more.!
You will enjoy this book.
