In a world not our own, where gods and demons, men and monsters walk side by side, and on occasion even dally together, two exiled immortal gods find their fates have become intertwined across the millenia with a pair of mortal siblings. When Vakashta, God of Storm and Battles, and his sister-lover Mirriti, Goddess of Fire and Beauty, meet the roguish Aros Longstaff and his beautiful yet treacherous sister Saralian Redblade, illicit passions ignite a flame that quickly blazes out of control. For the two mortal sibling-lovers have an ulterior motive in their divine dalliance -- they seek to steal the legendary Jewels of Sankharra from out of the very Temple of the Gods. And while Vakashta and Mirriti can understand, forgive, and even condone many sins of the flesh, to steal from the Gods themselves is a transgression that is always punishable by death!
